The History of Safety Power Group
Safety Power Group was formed in 1988 by the merger of
Oakley Electronics and Safety Power Electronics.
PP40 Series Introduced in 1987
PP55 Series (1988)
PP90/100 Series (1988)
For the next decade the company was to manufacture and design OEM switched
mode power supplies for the Data comm's, Telecom's and Industrial Control Markets.
With a growing customer base , enquiry's for a wider range of technologies and output power were being requested by our customers.
Safety Power started to market and stock other Power Supply Manufactures products.
Our first partner in 1986 was Delta Elektonika BV.
We are now celebrating our 20th year of representing Delta within the UK.
Because of the far east competition for standard low power switched mode power
supplies ,our sales for standard products have declined.
Our focal markets are now.
Special designs with high technical content.
